Making leaf impressions with UV setting resin

Mike demonstrated a simple technique for taking impressions of the surface of a structure (in this case the under surface of a leaf) using a glass slide and UV setting resin (e.g. Vida Rosa Amazon link). A small amount of resin was pipetted onto the slide, the leaf placed on it face down and then another slide placed on top. The slides were then clamped together and placed in a UV chamber (click for an example) to set. Once unclamped, the leaf was peeled away leaving the polymerised resin impression on the slide.
